Our mission is to re-establish a strong Jewish presence in Detroit, both to help the Jewish community and to revitalize the City of Detroit. We list restaurants that are potentially sit down, not just carry out, and that are either 100% Kosher or 100% vegetarian in Detroit and its suburbs.
Kosher certification is via Kosher Michigan (KM)-Conservative or Vaad / Council of Orthodox Rabbis of Greater Detroit(VA). Note - we rely on the websites and do not independently verify the Kosher or vegetarian / vegan status of these businesses.
The listings are divided into 4 sections: Detroit restaurants that are Kosher or vegetarian and Suburban Detroit restaurants that are Kosher or vegetarian. If kosher, the certification is listed. This information changes frequently, so please call first!
